Millions
of babies are born every year, many of them under worse circumstances than
were Jesus. Yet, here you are, drawn to this particular birth, along with
billions of others. Why do you think that is? If Jesus did not exist in any form before that sacred night some
two thousand years ago, and ceased to be 33 years later, there would be nothing
special with his birth, life and death.
But if he
lived before he was born, and actually chose
to be born, there, in Bethlehem, and to live among a people who would persecute
him, and in the end kill him; and if he arose from the dead, and ascended to
his Royal Courts from whence he came, then
his birth, his childhood, his life, yes; everything about him would be of
greatest importance and interest!
It
would mean that God was actually upon the earth for 33 years, and made himself known! Is that why you, and billion others, are
drawn to the birth of this particular child?
